Lab Zero Games have confirmed that the re-launch of Skullgirls is coming very soon, next week in fact! February 11th is the day the new version of the game will be available on the Playstation Network, following the fallout with their previous publisher, Konami. The release date of the Xbox Live Arcade version has not been finalized yet.

The re-launch of the game comes with an absolute ton of changes, bug fixes, and updates – as well as the new character Squiggly, the Character Color Bundle DLC, all for free. That’s right – if you buy the new version or if you own the older version you’ll get that DLC alongside the Encore version for free.

The game is also coming with the hilarious Typing of the Skullgirls mode, a nod to the classic House of the Dead spinoff, The Typing of the Dead.
