Skullgirls Developers Reveal the Gorgeous Action RPG, Indivisible

Lab Zero Games, the crew behind the gorgeous 2D fighter Skullgirls, have announced a brand new, action RPG, dubbed simply Indivisible.

The game is reportedly inspired by classics like Valkyrie Profile and Super Metroid. Featured above, you can view the game’s debut teaser trailer. The game has a “deep story” that is inspired by southeast Asian (among others) mythologies, and comes with their signature hand-drawn style, and a soundtrack by Secret of Mana composer Hiroki Kikuta.

Players will step into the sandals of Ajna, a girl who embarks on a global journey to uncover the truth behind her strange powers. She’ll be accompanied by lots of heroes, and even unlock new abilities during her journey.

A playable prototype is going to be launching alongside an Indiegogo campaign some time in early September. Finally, a release date is set for sometime in 2017.
