Skull & Bones beta sign-ups now available

Skull & Bones beta sign-ups

Despite having almost no information or gameplay shown for the game, Ubisoft announced Skull & Bones beta sign-ups are now available.

The new sign-ups will let players finally get a look at an in-development version of the game as they work towards its release – which Ubisoft says will be within the next year.

Ubisoft said their goal with opening up the game to a beta is to “get real data & feedback,” saying they “want to see what our players do when they’re free to play our game whenever they want, however they want.” The publisher also noted “most importantly, we want to know how they feel about the game.”

Skull & Bones was initially announced back in 2017, but details on the game since have been hard to find aside from multiple delays.

The game also skipped E3 2019, and was not seen during the Ubisoft Forward press conference in 2020, and was most recently delayed to release sometime between April 2022 and March 2023, so this commitment to a release within 2023 isn’t really new. Most recently, its associate director left the project as well.

Skull & Bones was originally announced for Windows PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
