The anime adaptation of Skip and Loafer (Skip to Loafer) will premiere this April as part of the Spring 2023 anime season.

Skip and Loafer follows a country girl named Mitsumi Iwakura who moves to Tokyo. She’s smart and ambitious, but she frequently gets in over her head when it comes to the difficulties of city living.

She makes friends with Shima Sousuke, who is extremely laid back. Will he be the perfect accompaniment to Iwakura’s over-preparation and naivety?

Skip and Loafer is the latest anime from studio P.A. Works. The studio is largely known for their work on Shirobako, Glasslip, and the recent Buddy Daddies.

The series began as a manga in 2018 by Misaki Takamatsu, and is licensed in English by Seven Seas Entertainment. The series is still ongoing with volume 8 of the manga releasing recently.

The series will begin airing on April 4.
