Skater XL Delays Early Access Launch to July 28 on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Later on Nintendo Switch

Skater XL

Easy Day Studios have announced a delay in the 1.0 launch of Skater XL from Early Access, and have provided a new release date.

As stated across Steam and Twitter, the game’s original July 7th launch has been delayed, despite the developer’s best efforts “and due in part to things out of [their] control.” The latter likely refers to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, and the quarantine orders.

Leading up to the game’s launch, the developers “will be showing more unreleased content and features that will be available at launch of 1.0, continuing to polish the content and features, and make Skater XL the game that you all deserve at launch.”

You can find the full rundown (via Steam) below.

Skater XL is an evolution in skateboarding games.

Experience unparalleled board control and responsiveness while you skate legendary real-world skate spots. Style your tricks the way you want, from the way you flip the board to the way you move your feet. Feel connected to your board like never before.

Style and Control: With new ground breaking and intuitive controls, skateboarding in a video game has never felt more authentic, fluid, and responsive. Style tricks any way you want and make every trick and line your own.

Legendary Spots: Shred real world legendary skate spots, like the LA Courthouse which is featured in early access.

IMPORTANT: This game REQUIRES an Xbox 360, One, PS3 or PS4 compatible controller to play. There are NO keyboard controls available. It also requires a DirectX 11 or above graphics card.
