Sir, We Have an Orc Problem is a tower defense with 100,000 enemies

Sir, We Have an Orc Problem

Sir, We Have an Orc Problem is incredibly reminiscent of those large-scale battles in The Lord of the Rings, where the number of enemies and bodies to battle is simply too great to even number. But developer Mumpitz Games did number the adversary, and the number is over 100,000.

This is a tower defense game where the waves of enemies flood through the landscape like a mighty, fleshy wave, and it’s your job, as the traditional omnipotent general, to strategically place defenses throughout the winding, cavernous map to protect from the incoming hordes.

Everything is physics-based, and it feels incredibly satisfying to mow down thousands of orcs in a single sweeping blow. Sir, We Have an Orc Problem released a free demo on Steam earlier this month, but has no release date announced.

Here are some more details from the developer:

Sir, We Have an Orc Problem is an incremental style tower-defense game where you face an overwhelming amount of orcs. Place and upgrade turrets and let bombs rain on the horde.

Features

  • A bazillion orcs – Defend your base against an overwhelming amount of orcs. They’re coming with tens of thousands of troops to overrun you. Greet them with even more bullets, rockets and lasers!
  • Massive upgrade tree – Use resources earned from every run, won or lost, to unlock and upgrade powerful turrets. Every upgrade brings you closer to defeating the horde.
  • Active abilities – Launch artillery strikes, bombing runs and orbital lasers to slaughter masses of orcs and survive critical situations.
