Two VTubers, Veibae and Silvervale who have been working under the company VShojo have parted ways with the company.

In an official announcement from VShojo, the company announced that the two talents had elected not to renew their contracts. Unlike most partings in the industry, Veibae and Silvervale appear to be allowed to keep their VTubing assets and continue their careers with their current characters.

Silvervale and Vei have chosen not to renew their contracts with VShojo. We respect their decision and want to thank them for helping make VShojo what it is today. They will also retain their IP so they can continue as the creators you love! We wish them the best on the next leg of their journey.

VShojo was one of the first VTuber companies to originate in the west as opposed to Hololive and Nijisanji which have their roots in Japan. In particular, Silvervale was one of the founding members of the group alongside Projekt Melody, Ironmouse, Nyatasha Nyanners, Zentreya, Froot, and Hime Hajime.

VShojo is also currently the home of VTubers Kson and Amemiya Nazuna.

Silvervale and Veibae seem to be continuing their careers as “indie” VTubers going forward.
