Sanrio have announced that Show By Rock!! will be returning for a third season.
Originally broadcast in 2015, Show by Rock!! had two seasons animated by Studio Bones, along with several OVAs.
Based on a smartphone game, young girl Cyan Hijirikawa finds her self being sucked into the world of her favorite rhythm game. Music is the commanding force of the world, and the city. Those with evil plans wish to use their own music to take over, but Cyan soon rises to the occasion to save her new world- with music!
While the second season broadcast in 2016, only now have we gotten a third season. This time the show will focus on new band “Mashumairesh!!!!” Their members include Howan of fox lineage (guitarist), Mashima Himeko of striped cat lineage (guitarist) Delmin of the Devilmint Kiryū lineage (bassist), and Ruhuyu of wolf-girl lineage (drummer). All of the girls are also vocalists.
