Shovel Knight sales have surpassed two million copies, developer

Yacht Club Games has announced total worldwide sales for Shovel Knight have topped two million copies.

The game sold one million copies 18 months after its first launch, while it managed to reach two million 26 months later, by the end of February of this year.

Yacht Club also broke down the sales of the game by platform, where the PC version sold roughly 24.4%, the 3DS version sold 23.9%, Switch sold 17.6%, Wii U sold 14.3%, PlayStation 4 sold 9.1%, and the rest sold 10.7%.

Shovel Knight was originally launched for Windows PC, Nintendo 3DS, and Wii U back in 2014, followed by its Mac, Linux, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PS Vita, and Xbox One releases.
