Yacht Club Games have announced the release date for Shovel Knight on Xbox One.

The Xbox One version of Shovel Knight is launching next Wednesday, April 29th, while the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PS Vita version of the game were made available this week.

The developer also confirmed they’re launching Shovel Knight in Japan – across all platforms, thanks to a new deal with a Japanese partner. Following this release, all versions of the game will be patched with a Japanese language option.

Finally, a new “Challenge Mode” will be making its way to the game in the upcoming “Plague of Shadows” update. Fans can expect to partake in “speed run challenges, boss rematches, and other rule-benders.”
