Valve is ramping up shipments for Steam Deck Q2 2022 pre-orders, the company announced today.
News that the PC gaming giant is ramping up shipments for Steam Deck Q2 2022 pre-orders come via their latest production update, noting they sent out the “first wave” of emails to Q2 reservations (in order of reservation time).
Valve then noted they’re “ramping up Steam Deck shipments” and sending more order availability emails “ever week”, sometimes “even twice a week.”
Users were quick to get nervous that their pre-order timelines would get bumped again but Valve confirmed no reservations have been pushed back again – they’ve only updated the store page to include additional info like specific months for each order.
Once your order becomes ready to finalize, you’ll get notified via email and then you can navigate to the Steam Deck store page and complete your purchase. Each pre-order is given a couple days to complete the purchase, otherwise your order is cancelled and the $5 deposit is refunded,
Valve’s recently launched Steam Deck is now available, and in three flavors: $399 (64GB), $529 (256GB), and $649 (512GB), over on the Steam store.
