Nintendo has confirmed that Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem is right on track for its eventual release on Wii U.
The news came during a developer round table during this year’s E3 convention in which the team behind Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem, Intelligent Systems, revealed their newest game – the Abraham Lincoln fueled SRPG, Code Name S.T.E.A.M., which is also set for the 3DS.
However, things got really interesting when a member of the press spoke up and asked for an update for the game, upon which Nintendo’s Hitoshi Yamagami replied:
“No no no no no. We’re right on schedule, but if I answer in any more detail I will lose my job so please have mercy on me.”
The transcript for this came via Polygon, who was liveblogging the event.
We’ll keep you guys posted.
