An anime adaptation for the manga series Shikimori’s Not Just a Cutie has been officially announced.

From creator Keigo Maki, Shikimori’s Not Just a Cutie is a romantic slice-of-life series that follows an unconventional high school couple. Izumi is a rather passive and plain kind of guy, but in contrast the titular Shikimori is a cute girl but with a strong “cool” side.

Assertive and passionate, Shikimori isn’t afraid of letting her boyfriend know how much she loves him. Even if that means letting her protective and dark cool side show.
