Seven Dragon Saga is still around $350,000 short of it’s intended goal, but that hasn’t discouraged TSI Games from pumping out some very impressive updates on the classic RPG’s progress. In the latest update, they flesh out the game’s eight (so far) classes and add two new reward tiers for potential backers to fight over.
Of particular note is the Soultender class (pictured above), which seems to be TSI Games’ take on the typical D&D Cleric.
Soultender:
A solid fighter, often using the spear to extend reach, a selfish Soultender is a hard character to bring down with her abilities to restore her own hit points. Keeping folks alive during battle is a major task, and the Healer has the two major abilities for that: Heal and Rejuvenation. Also, Physician skill for more mundane injuries, better recovery of party Fatigue and Trauma. Combine with Priestly for very high healing, some harm undead, or Nature Element to mimic a druid.
As for the reward tiers, they aren’t cheap, so be prepared to spread the wallet open if you want the extra goodies:
Backers who pledge at the Immortal Bard level ($500) or higher can contact us after the campaign and substitute physical versions of the digital rewards (game box, etc.). We’re sorry this was not made clear before now.
We’ve added a couple new tiers
Hall of Fallen Heroes. $250, hidden in ancient ruins, this great hall, full of heroic statues, includes a roll call of ancient greats, including your name.
Immortal Visage. $350, Send us a picture of yourself and we will adapt the portrait of an NPC in the game to resemble you.
As of this writing, there are 24 days to go until the end of Seven Dragon Saga‘s funding period, so if you’re planning to donate be sure to head over to their Kickstarter before those cloth maps get bought up.
