Servers for Blacklight: Retribution are Shutting Down

Hardsuit Labs have announced that they will soon be shutting down the servers to their free-to-play sci-fi shooter, Blacklight: Retribution.

The game initially entered closed beta back in November 2011, and officially launched on PC in April of 2012. It was later brought to the PS4 in 2013, and was one of the first free-to-play games on the console.

The servers will officially shut down on PC on March 11th, and all monetization has been turned off. The remaining developers working on the game have been moved to other projects, so no more patches will be coming either. You can read more about the announcement here.

If you want to give Blacklight: Retribution one last shot, you can find it on PC via Steam and PS4.
