With Serpent in the Staglands pushed back to the 28th (It’s former launch date being the 18th), it has given developer Whalenought Studios time to craft a fairly impressive launch trailer. Debuting on their latest Kickstarter update, it comes with news that copies for each backer have finally been mailed out.

The best news, however, is that the game was picked up by GOG and will launch the same day there as it will on Steam.

Last week we signed on with GOG to distribute Serpent in the Staglands, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to be a part of their catalog! The game will be for sale there on May 28th as well as on the Humble Store! Getting the game DRM free is something we hold dear to our hearts, and we’re excited to have these avenues to distribute the game through!

Serpent in the Staglands looks delightfully complex with a classless system that allows you to specialize your party in very specific ways. You can spend the next eight days leafing through the game’s manual to help make that wait a little more tolerable.
