Sekai Project has announced they’re publishing Serment Contract with a Devil.
The game is described as a “visual novel – dungeon crawler hybrid,” complete with “dating sim time management system, turn-based RPG battles, multiple minigames and most importantly cute kemonomimis” (Editor’s Note: characters with animal ears, you filthy gaijins).
While also having visual novel elements, the game also brings with it various mini-games, possible yuri romance, and multiple side characters. Featured above, you can view a gameplay video of the game’s alpha build.
Here are the game’s key features:
- 4 main female characters that you can name yourself, each with their own unique personalities, story and ending.
- Multiple side characters, also with unique personalities and events.
- 3D first person perspective dungeon crawler.
- JRPG Classic turn-based Active Time Battles (Like Final Fantasy 7).
- Fishing, Cooking, Crafting minigames.
- 3 difficulty options.
- Potential Girl x Girl romance (which is also skippable if for some reasons you can’t stand some light yuri).
- Capitalism, ho!
Here are some in-game screenshots for the game:
Developed by indie developer NKT Studio, players will be able to choose one out of four girls. All four girls have been revived by the devil, and his resurrection doesn’t come cheap: you’ll be forced to repay him with a large amount of money.
“If the payment comes even one day late, the heroine will return to the afterlife. And so her light-hearted, comedic adventure to save up enough money before the deadline begins,” reads the game’s description.
The game was recently greenlit on Steam, and even has a free playable demo over on their development blog.
