Localizer and publisher Sentai Filmworks has acquired the exclusive distribution rights for the upcoming series Redo of Healer.

The acquisition was announced on the official blog for the publisher. The series will be released digitally (likely on Sentai Filmwork’s proprietary platform HIDIVE) with a home media release to follow later.

Redo of Healer is a gritty fantasy series that follows the adventures of “The Healing Hero”. Denigrated for his talent for healing and abused by his other party members, he’s given a chance to redo his life and this time exact revenge on those who’ve mistreated him.

The series officially premieres on January 13th, it’s unknown at present if Sentai Filmworks will be simulcasting the episodes as they premiere or if there will be a delay.

The series is also allegedly premiering in three different formats. A broadcast format with censored content to make it appropriate for television, a streaming format with less censorship, and finally an uncensored version that is expected to be fully NSFW.

It’s unknown at present which format Sentai Filmworks will be streaming. It’s speculated the uncensored version might be part of the eventual home media release.
