Senran Kagura 2 North American Release Set for September 15

XSEED Games have confirmed the release date for Senran Kagura 2: Deep Crimson in North America, now that the game has officially gone gold.

The hotly anticipated sequel will be launching exclusively on the Nintendo 3DS on September 15th in North America. The European date of August 27th was previously confirmed. Featured above, a new trailer was also released for the game.

Fans will be able to get the game for $39.99 via the eShop, as well as physically via retail in the “Double D Edition,” for $49.99. The physical release comes with two music CDs, containing a total of 60 tracks.

XSEED Games are celebrating the announcement with a sale for the original game, Senran Kagura Burst, down to $19.99, beginning today through September 14th. If you have save data from the original, you’ll get Ikaruga’s brother, Murasame, as a playable character entirely free. Otherwise, you’ll have to pay $4.99 to get him as DLC.
