Sekai Project’s Clannad Stretch Goals Revealed

clannad2

Sekai Project finally revealed the stretch goals for their Kickstarter funding of Clannad on November 23rd. There are three tiers, currently, and the best part? The first tier’s already been reached!

The first stretch goal of $200,000 was for HD assets, so the game is going to be even prettier than ever before. Here’s Sekai Project’s message for the tier:

First off, congratulations and thank you all for smashing through the first stretch goal before we could even put it up. We had our hands full working everything out because you were all so awesome! Regarding the assets, VisualArt’s/Key currently has them at 1280×960, however we’re asking them to process it to 1280×720 for proper widescreen support.

Following that, there are two other tiers. The second is the inclusion of the side-stories that can be found on the PS3 and Vita versions of the game. Unfortunately, the cost jump between tier one and two is considerable, so reaching it may be a stretch … haha.

The third tier is a brand new Clannad anthology manga that would release in the West before Japan. Sekai Project definitely wins some cool points with that, and I’m sure fans would be ecstatic if it does the series justice.

Here’s hoping the stretch goals can be attained.
