Fans of Sega’s Phantasy Star Online series of online RPGs have been essentially left for dead in the wake of utter silence regarding Phantasy Star Online 2 coming west.
Well, a PR handler on the company’s official Twitter account responded to a fan’s pleas of whether or not the game would still find a release in the west:
“PSO2 is still delayed. SEGA is currently working on bringing PSO2 to the West and will update as soon as we know more.”
It’s something for the fans to go off of, but it’s pretty hard to play the damn game without an official localization, as the Japanese release is currently IP locked.
