Larry ‘Major Nelson’ Hyrb is back with yet another video showing off some more Xbox One functionality. This time we get to see how the new and improved friends list on Xbox Live will function through Xbox One.
You can view the tutorial below:
The new friends list will allow you to have up to a thousand friends, and there are a lot of improvements to help you manage your newly expanded friends list. For one, you can favorite certain friends so they appear at in your favorites list, so you don’t have to sift through your entire friends list.
You can also now follow people without having to become their friend, opening up the chances of having people following your activities, without them having to go through the process of adding you as a friend. You can block this from ever being possible through your privacy settings as well.
A new addition to the achievements realm is a new type of achievement, dubbed a time-based challenge. Challenges are only available for a certain period of time, like say Game X wants players to collectively complete a certain objective during a weekend. If you all succeed, you will all unlock the achievement related to that challenge.
