Stardock Entertainment has released the second part of the ongoing Earth Rising DLC for Star Control: Origins.

Part 2: Return of the Lexites tasks you with uncovering the mysteries surrounding a post-singularity alien race that is impeding humanity’s expansion into deep space. You can check out a trailer for Return of the Lexites above.

This storyline is part of the four-chapter Earth Rising DLC, and is now available as an update if you own the $19.99 expansion pack. The final two parts are due out in Summer and Fall of this year.

Here’s a rundown of the new content:
