Microsoft has shared a new trailer for their upcoming Microsoft Flight Simulator that confirms real-time seasonal weather for the flight sim.
Featured above, the new “Let it Snow!” trailer begins with a shot of New York City in the fall, only to progress into winter – with buildings and Central Park getting blanketed in snow.
The game utilizes real-time weather data, so if a storm is happening in your area or over your local airport, you can actually see what it would be like for a plane to take off or fly through the stormy weather.
Microsoft Flight Simulator is set for a Windows PC release sometime this year.
