“Message from the original author, Mr. Fujino Omori

Who would have thought that the fourth season of the anime would start after the Divergent Arc?

At least, the original author never imagined that we would reach this point.

It will be a new chapter with more battles, violence, and dungeons than ever before.

And will there be more heroines in Danmachi?

I can’t wait to see more male characters in this series!

Before Hestia gets a hole in her stomach!

The adventures of Belle and her friends are just beginning!”

Is It Wrong to Try to Pick to Pick Up Girls In a Dungeon? is an ongoing light novel series from creator Fujino Omori. The series follows the adventures of adventurer Bell Cranel and his patron deity Hestia.

In the city of Orario, the gods have descended to the earth in order to experience a more humble but exciting existence. These gods bestow their favor on adventurers and together they challenge dungeons as a group.

These gods usually take a position similar to “guild masters” in MMORPGs and lead groups called “Familia”.

The first season of Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? premiered in 2015 and is handled by animation studio J.C. Staff; the studio is known for their work on Azumanga Daioh, Revolutionary Girl Utena, and others.
