Following the reveal of Civilization VI at this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo, there was lots of fan speculation as to whether famed actor Sean Bean would actually narrate more things in the upcoming strategy game.

Now, we’ve learned (via PC Gamer) that he is actually narrating the entire game’s tech tree, including new technologies and new civics that you attain.

The above video gives a pretty thorough overview of what to expect from his performance. At least there’s no way he can die in this role, right?

The latest in Firaxis’ series introduces new changes to the classic formula, including cities that take up multiple tiles, a new culture-based civics tree, and more.

Civilization VI will launch on October 21st, for PC.
