Sea of Thieves Season 10 highlights

Sea of Thieves

Sea of Thieves released a new video announcing key features in the upcoming Season 10 update.

Rare gave us three big highlights to go over for Season 10, with more yet to be announced.

Guilds

Players can join guilds that offer friends a way to connect on Sea of Thieves and even progress while offline with the ability to “commit” ships to their guild’s cause.

Skull of the Siren Song

A new World Event that gives players a ghostly quest. Every player on the server will receive a message from Captain Briggsy and be given two maps. One contains the key, the other contains the chest. The prize is the Skull of the Siren Song. A powerful but cursed artifact that will presumably sell for a ton of gold.

Safer Seas

Rare is finally giving players PvE servers with some restrictions.

  • 30% gold
  • No Emissaries
  • No Athena’s quests or Achievement
  • Trading Company reputation is capped at 40

It seems most achievements will be enabled, allowing players to complete goals considered too bothersome in normal play.

You can find the whole preview below.

Sea of Thieves season 10 begins October 19.

Sea of Thieves is available for Windows PC (via the Microsoft Store, and Steam), Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. If you missed it, you can find our review here (we can’t recommend it enough!!)
