Se7en getting 4K remaster with a special box edition

Se7en 4K

David Fincher’s iconic thriller Se7en is finally getting a 4K remaster, and what’s more – it’s also getting a glorious box edition.

Fans of the iconic thriller – which created an early meme around its spectacular climax – will be delighted with both the 4K remaster and its actual “What’s in the Box” Edition.

Warner Bros. UK is prepping the remaster and the special edition, all of which are up for preorder on various retailers like Amazon UK, Zavvi, and more. There’s a standard 4K remaster, an Ultimate Collector’s Edition, and the aforementioned What’s in the Box Edition.

A release for the Se7en 4K remaster is set for December 30th, and though its a UK exclusive – 4K ultra HD discs are inherently region free and most of the aforementioned retailers ship internationally, so order away.

Originally released back in 1995, Se7en stars Morgan Freeman as retiring police detective William Somerset, who partners up with new transfer David Mills (Brad Pitt). Somerset’s final case quickly gets out of control when they realize they’re dealing with a serial killer that seems to target victims based on the seven deadly sins.

Here’s a blurb on the new release:
