Bandai Namco has announced SD Gundam G Generation ETERNAL, a new strategy spinoff set within the beloved mecha franchise.
SD Gundam G Generation ETERNAL is in development for iOS and Android and will be free-to-play, with in-game microtransactions. A release date wasn’t confirmed but a closed beta is coming sometime soon.

Gundam G Generation is a series of strategy games that give you the power to completely immerse yourself in the Gundam universe.
Its distinctive game systems allow you to collect your favorite Mobile Suits and characters from all throughout the various “Gundam” series, power them up, develop them, and form your very own squads to do battle the way you want.
G Generation’s enduring popularity across the wide spectrum of Gundam fans can be attributed to the way it transcends the boundaries set by the various manga and anime series, giving players the freedom to create unique squads of their own design, while also allowing them to enjoy all their favorite mainline stories as well as G Generation originals.

In this installment, you can create “warship groups” centered around a warship, or “mobile groups” composed of individual units. Assemble your favorite units and characters from various “Gundam” series to create your own original squad!

Training & Event Stages

You can obtain new units, warships, and characters by completing stages, via development, and through quests! Enjoy the challenge of overcoming the obstacles each stage puts in your path and aim to create your own unique squad with the array of units you collect along the way!
Powering Up & Training
You can power up and train the units and characters you’ve obtained by having them battle in various stages. Plus, you can obtain power-up materials in training stages which can instantly make your units even more powerful! Take your favorite units to the next level!
