The latest trailer for the upcoming Scream 6 film gives us a first look at the plot and the return of Courtney Cox as Gale Weathers.

The first trailer for the film was just a short teaser, showing a scene on the subway where multiple individuals dressed as Ghostface for Halloween put the protagonists on edge before ending in a jumpscare.

This new trailer clocks in at over 2 minutes and includes the scene from the teaser. We get a closer look at heroines Sam and Tara Carpenter from Scream 5, and of course – Courtney Cox as Gale Weathers.

Noticeably absent is Neve Campbell as Sidney Prescott, the famous “final girl” who’s appeared in every film until now. David Arquette is absent for obvious reasons (watch the 2022 movie!)

Campbell walked away from the film after a disagreement regarding her pay arose, with Campbell speculating she was given a low offer because she’s a woman.

Scream 6 is coming to theaters on March 10, 2023.
