    Scott Pilgrim the “anime” will premiere this November as part of the Fall 2023 anime season.

    Although the series bills itself as an anime, the primary voice cast is English (with Michael Cera reprising his role). Notably, studio Science Saru from Japan is actually animating the series.


    The new anime series is based on the original Scott Pilgrim graphic novels and will be produced and animated by studio Science SARU, known for a few Crayon Shin-chan films, brief work on the Space Dandy series, and the very excellent film Night Is Short, Walk On Girl.
