Bandai Namco has announced the latest combatant to join Pokken Tournament.
The metallic evolution of Scyther, Scizor, is being added to the game. Featured above, you can view the introduction trailer for Scizor.
The game’s October 20th update will add Scizor to Japanese arcades. A Wii U update for Scizor has not been confirmed.

October 13, 2016 at 2:23 pmHey, look. More Wii U content.
Reminder that Pokken is a much better game than Street Fighter V.

October 13, 2016 at 4:40 pmWii U version still doesn’t have Darkrai yet, does it? And being better than Street Fighter V admittedly isn’t a huge feat.

October 13, 2016 at 7:09 pmSince scizor was fighting a fire-type without trouble, I take it weaknesses and resistances are not applied here?

October 13, 2016 at 7:34 pmWii U is never getting these characters though, the game’s obviously getting an NX rerelease with the new characters..
Also just because it sold better than the buggy unfinished mess that was Street Fighter V doesn’t mean shit.
This is coming from someone who has the game and enjoyed it fairly enough. It would be pretty alright if it wasn’t for that pointless as all hell 3D segment that gets in the way of the actual fun 2D part of the game.

October 14, 2016 at 9:25 amI haven’t played it much but yeah. As a fighting game where you can only use one Pokemon per battle and don’t get to equip yourself to counteract elements. Types don’t mean much though obviously guys with more ranged attacks play that way.
Imagine if the Dark Hado in Street Fighter was strong against the Normal folks. It wouldn’t add up.

October 14, 2016 at 5:42 pmImagine if they used the Pokken style combat in a mainstream pokemon game.
