• Sci-Fi RPG “The Surge” Is The Next Game From Deck 13

    Deck 13, best known for last year’s “Souls-esque” Lords of the Fallen, has just announced the existence of their next RPG, a sci-fi epic going by the name The Surge.

    Planned to launch some time in 2017, the new game will appear on the Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC platforms and is being called a, quote, “premium action RPG”.


    What that means we can’t say yet, since a trailer has yet to surface and the possibility of one being revealed is rather slim. Apparently, they are only planning to talk about the game to reporters behind closed doors during next month’s Gamescom event.

    It was recently announced that Deck 13 would not be working on the next Lords of the Fallen title; a decision that might have been made to allow the team to focus on The Surge instead.
