Sci-Fi Adventure ReCore Gets New Trailer At E3

At Microsoft’s E3 presentation today, Keiji Inafune’s science fiction adventure game ReCore had a new trailer released for it, which you can view above. Showing off more of the desert environments and the robotic enemies that populate Far Eden, the trailer also showcased the new ways the games heroin, Joule Adams, will traverse it.

Related to this new footage is news from NeoGaf concerning ReCore’s release date, which was recently leaked. According to the leak, ReCore will hit the Xbox and Windows 10 PCs this September 13th in the US, September 15th in Japan, and September 16th in Europe.

Let’s see where all that Kickstarter budget went.

Doesn’t look too bad, but given that it’s Comcept and Inafune I’ll be waiting for the character meltdown and the anime Kickstarter.

What’s up with all the hip pop shit songs every-fucking-where?

And wait, did you just say Windows 10 (?!) exclusive?
So not PC anymore, it’s WINDOWS 10 exclusive.

No, it’s both. I had to add that.

No, I didn’t mean it that way.

I meant that now they’re forcing us to get Win10 to play these games, instead of just having it be a “PC exclusive”, AKA have it work on every version of Windows and maybe Mac/Linux.

Yeah, it’ll be a Windows 10 exclusive as in, you need 10. MS REALLY wants you to upgrade.

Upgrade or they’ll come for you at night.

They can suck my dick, it seems they’re going full retard at this point.

They probably use DirectX12, which makes sense, and isn’t available below 10.

Looks good until I saw that it was one of InaFRAUDne’s “works”.

Thought it’d be cancelled by now.

It looks like it’s gonna aggravate the kind of people who buy Boners which is likely gonna be a small fraction of the numbers since the consoles audience seems more into competitive games and not into platforming gameplay.

Looks extraordinarily generic. I saw some shooting… some platforming… some running around… the trailer gave me goosebumps as it was VERY well made, but the game just looks like a sad, generic game. I still want it. if I had, or planned on buying, an XBOne I’d pick this up (probably) but it’s just super bland looking.

Side note: It’d benefit a whole lot more from being First Person. If I felt like I was the character, staring at giant robots coming after me, I’d be MUCH more immersed. Just sayin’.

Wow! This actually looks really good. I guess we can see where Inafune’s attention was while making Mighty No. 9. This game looks more Capcom-esque than that game did.

So Mighty No. 9 was just a failed side project?

It would not surprise me if most of the Mighty No 9 funds actually went into this game, considering how mediocre that one looks and how little care they put into that project.
