Funimation has finally released the officially-licensed western release for Bayonetta: Bloody Fate, the anime movie based on the video game with the titular witch.
You can view a launch trailer for the game, embedded above, that features the movie’s returning English voice cast, the majority of which reprise their roles from the video game itself—including Hellena Taylor as the voice as Bayonetta.
Whereas Funimation handled the official licensing and localization, the original anime adaptation was done by studio Gonzo, the folks behind series like Afro Samurai and Blue Submarine No. 6. Funimation’s release is a Blu-ray/DVD combo pack.
The release of Bayonetta: Bloody Fate makes sense, considering that Bayonetta 2 is launching on Wii U this coming Friday, October 24th. You can purchase Bayonetta: Bloody Fate here, for $26.24 dollars.
