D-Pad Studio is working on the amazing looking Owlboy, but in the meantime you can get a seriously fun game from them in a few days.

Savant: Ascent is a glorious collaboration between EDM artist Savant, and D-Pad studio. D-Pad had consistently created the album art for Savant, so it was only natural that eventually they talked about making a game featuring the wizard and art from his covers and bam, Savant: Ascent was born. The game is basically a vertically scrolling shooter filled with awesome music from Savant.

It took them roughly a month or so to finish the collaboration, and it was released via the game’s official website back in August. The game was put up on Steam Greenlight, and thankfully it was approved and is already ready for release on the platform! The game is coming this week actually, on December 4th. Savant: Ascent is also coming to iOS and the Google play store on the same date, and it’s only going to cost TWO BUCKS! Seriously, you should probably buy this just on principle alone.
