Saudi man gets Guinness World Record for most consoles hooked up to a TV

Guinness World Record

Ibrahim al-Nasser, a Saudi man, is now holding the Guinness World Record for the most consoles on one television.

Al-Nasser said that he collected about 444 gaming consoles of different eras and makes, from the Magnavox Odyssey released in 1972 to the PlayStation 5 slim in 2023. Plug and play games, HDMI Game sticks, and android games are also included in his treasure trove. A Steam deck was also spotted.

He has also an Excel spreadsheet to tell which game and console he would play and switch the particular console he wanted onto TV. The consoles are all well-hidden according to al-Nasser, and use everything available on the market to skillfully hide the cables.

For his part, al-Nasser said that it was an honor to be inducted into the Guinness World Records. While he plays all his game consoles, he admitted that “for me, the best gaming console of all time, number one always, forever, Sega Genesis.”
