• Samurai Shodown rollback netcode update gets surprise release

    SNK Corporation has announced a surprise release for the Samurai Shodown rollback netcode update.

    The rollback netcode update is now available for PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PS4. The Switch version isn’t getting rollback netcode.

    As covered in our previous report, Code Mystics handled implementing the new netcode, which is based on the netcode already used by The King of Fighters XV.

    Samurai Shodown has been available for Windows PC (via Steam and the Epic Games Store), Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PlayStation 4.
