Adult Swim Games and Soleil Ltd. have revealed gameplay for Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time during IGN’s Summer of Gaming.
The game features an original story by Darrick Bachman; a writer for numerous episodes during season 5 of Samurai Jack. Aku has created an alternate timeline, and has sent Jack back in time through his adventures, with some surprises along the way.
Jack will gain access to more weapons than just his trusty sword, as he teams up with allies and travels to familiar sites from the cartoon (including the final season from 2017). Returning characters include The Scotsman and Demongo. Players can also unlock more skills through training.
The voice cast from the show will also be reprising their roles, with exception to the late Mako (Makoto Iwamatsu) who voiced Aku. Greg Baldwin voiced Aku in season 5.
