Natsume has revealed a new villager for Harvest Moon: The Lost Valley, and he’s quite the wise guy.
Featured above, you can get a look at Sam, a salesman who sports quite the accent that reminds this New Jersey/Philly boy of the local Italians who talked pretty similarly.
Sam has a wife and daughter, so naturally this means you can’t date him if you play as a girl – but he will certainly sell you things when he travels to the valley.
Just above you can see a few in game screenshots with Sam that reveal his typical narrative – gems like “Heh heh heh! Youse nevah woulda guessed I has a daughta, yeah?”
This is the kind of vernacular that I hear when perusing the south Philadelphia Italian market. Despite his wily style of communicating, he is truly a pure-hearted character, and he is mostly concerned with his ailing wife.
His story will probably involve you helping cure his wife of her sickness, which is only made possible with a special kind of medicine that only a currently unconfirmed character can make.
Harvest Moon: The Lost Valley is coming to the 3DS worldwide sometime this fall.
