We’ve learned that all those Neo Geo re-releases on the Nintendo Switch have topped one million units worldwide.

The news was confirmed by Hamster Corporation, the folks mostly known for porting classic games to modern platforms.

Their string of Neo Geo ports to the Switch have clearly been successful in the void left by a lack of Nintendo’s Virtual Console (which still hasn’t been launched for the console).

This is great news for SNK Corporation, who naturally get a cut of the sales and have been making a comeback lately both in giving their fans what they want and in developing more authentic SNK-like titles, the latest of which is SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy.
