The new Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin anime is based on the Edelweiss-developed farming/action game of the same name, and will premiere on July 6th.

Here’s the new trailer:

Masayuki Yoshihara, who worked for The Eccentric Family and Komada-A Whisky Family, serves as the anime director. Jukki Hanada, writer for the Love Live and Kancolle anime, will pen the script. Shoji Soma who produced Shirobako and The Eccentric Family, will serve as the line producer.

The voice cast for the game is returning for the anime, including Sakuna’s voice actress Naomi Ozora (Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out!, Gabriel Dropout, Jahy Would Not be Defeated).
