This week’s Famitsu magazine has given us somewhat of a further look into SaGa 2015, the recently confirmed game from series creator Akitoshi Kawazu and Square Enix.
When polled on what kind of experience the game would bring, Kawazu bluntly said that SaGa 2015 is a “traditional RPG,” but it would also bring the series’ nonlinear progression that features multiple protagonists.
Kawazu was asked about the character shown in the debut artwork for the game, to which he said the character is a “Fire Bringer,” and a god of the game world. In regards to the other character artwork, however, he’s not talking.
Lastly, Kawazu talked about the overall style of the game. He said that SaGa 2015 will be something akin to what fans would expect out of a Romancing SaGa 4. However, he did say that bits of the game aren’t quite exactly like the numbered games in the series.
