At the end of today’s Xbox Games Showcase Extended, GSC Game World announced newly renamed S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl is delayed to 2023.

Once released, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chernobyl will be available for Xbox Series X|S, and later on Windows PC (via Steam). The game will be available on Xbox Game Pass on launch.

A cinematic trailer shown today was preceded by a short video showing the effects of the ongoing Ukraine/Russia conflict on the developers and their families. Although many were evacuated, some stayed in the country to continue development on the game and volunteer in the war effort, but the game was ultimately delayed indefinitely.
