20th Century Fox has shared the first trailer for Free Guy, a new movie centered entirely on an open-world video game.

Featured above, the new trailer shows off the new live-action movie, which stars Ryan Reynolds as an ordinary NPC (non-player character) in an open-world video game.

Reynolds plays the titular Guy, a bank teller who discovers he’s a background character in an open-world video game. He quickly decides to try becoming the hero, in a world of no limits and near-constant violence.

Here’s a rundown on the main cast and crew:

Starring Ryan Reynolds, Jodie Comer, Joe Keery, Lil Rel Howery, Utkarsh Ambudkar and Taika Waititi, Free Guy is directed by Shawn Levy from a story by Matt Lieberman and a screenplay by Lieberman and Zak Penn. The film is produced by Ryan Reynolds, Shawn Levy, Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter and Adam Kolbrenner with Mary McLaglen, Josh McLaglen, George Dewey, Dan Levine and Michael Riley McGrath serving as executive producers.

Free Guy is set for a premiere in theaters next year, on July 3rd, 2020.
