Jagex has revealed the first elite skill for Runescape.

The new skill is dubbed simply “Invention,” and developer Jagex describes it as “a skill which unlocks when you reach levels in other skills.” To be clear, this is only obtainable when you pass level 80 in various skills, like divination, crafting, and more.

Say you surpass level 80 in Smithing – you’ll then be able to further modify your gear for specific kinds of encounters, like killing demons or what have you. You can even debuff yourself, or craft nonsense items for your enjoyment.

For those looking for a more old school feel, Old School Runescape received an entire new continent.
