Nootbox Games has released a new gameplay trailer for their upcoming title Rune Fencer Illyia.
Rune Fencer Illyia is an action-platformer from indie developer Nootbox Games. The game follows the formula of other “Metroidvania” with an open map and boos fights that need to be sought out and completed. Players will be able to use sword techniques and runic magic in order to help Illyia along her quest.

Story
A young Runist named Illyia of Moonstone wakes up in the debris of the airship she had been traveling on with her twin sister, Lilly. Now, Illyia must explore the strange, ruined world that she’s arrived in, locate her missing sister and find a way home.However, things are never quite that easy as she unravels the secrets of a fallen kingdom and those who still wander it.
