D3 Publisher has announced a new Run for Money: The Great Mission video game adaptation, based on the TV anime of the same name.

The new Run for Money: The Great Mission game is being developed for Nintendo Switch with a Japan launch set for July 4th (via Famitsu).

It’s worth pointing out Run for Money: The Great Mission is actually based on a Japanese TV variety show called Run for Money (逃走中), where a group of contestants play the role of fugitives and must escape the “hunters.” Whoever survives wins a cash prize.

While the Japanese TV version of the show would feature random contestants and even celebrities, the 2023 TV anime and its new game adaptation will feature characters from the anime, as well as original stages and missions exclusive to the game.
