Rumor: Two Next-Gen Xbox Consoles to be Announced at E3 2019

The next generation of Xbox consoles will be announced at E3 2019, according to a report from

A new rumor is pointing to Microsoft revealing the next-generation Xbox consoles at this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo.

The rumor comes via French website JeuxVideo, and claims the consoles are code-named “Lockhart” and “Anaconda.” The former is a lower-end model with no disc drive and is focused on direct digital play, while the latter is a higher-end model priced like the Xbox One X at launch.

The website claims the release for the consoles is set towards the end of 2020, and that Halo Infinite will be a launch title. Reportedly, Halo Infinite will come to Windows PC and Xbox One as originally planned, with Microsoft looking to get rid of the concept of console generations entirely.

Lastly, the source claims the next game by recently acquired studio Ninja Theory will be launching sometime in early 2020.
