• Rumor: Sony is targeting Korean studios for exclusivity

    Gamers are speculating that Sony might be targeting Korean video game developers for exclusivity in response to Microsoft’s impending acquisition of Activision-Blizzard.

    News blog @KoreaXboxNews has reported that Sony has been in contact with major Korean developers including: “Sony’s contacts include Pearl Abyss, Neowiz, Com2us, and NCsoft”.


    Sony’s interaction with Korean developers has been corroborated by news site MTN.

    The developers Sony has reportedly been in contact with includes some big names in the Korean gaming industry.

    NCSoft are known for their work on the Lineage and Blade & Soul series, while Neowiz is the publisher of the upcoming Lies of P.
